2.0 Ageing in Place
Assisting people over 50 in making informed housing decisions

We've been designing for our clients over 50 since they were in their 20s and 30s, with the view that aging isn’t a stage, but a life-long process.

Services
We assist people over 50 in making informed decisions regarding their housing and community options. We do this through a range of in-house and consultant services to ensure they understand:
1. The range of housing and community options available to them
2. The financial implications
3. Their health contributors
4. Applying this understanding to effect informed decision making
We test these options against: lifestyle, social networks, & financial security
With this understanding, informed choices can be made between:
-
Remaining in the existing residence, with or without modifications
-
Moving to a more suitable residence, but not necessarily downsizing
-
Downsizing
-
Moving into a lifestyle or retirement community

Deliverables
At the end of this process, we provide a comprehensive report outlining:
-
The short list of suitable options & financial summaries for the options
-
Next steps & associated costs
-
Strategies for staying out of aged care for as long as possible, should this be desired
